Dusit Thani Abu Dhabi

We were traveling as a family and we requested for our rooms to be close by and from a higher floor and they accommodated our wishes which we were really grateful for. The housekeeping did a fab job of cleaning the room. The location is good as it’s pretty close to many restaurants and malls. Breakfast has a lot of options to choose from. Competitive price. Friendly staff.

The overall experience was pleasant, and the hotel provided a comfortable stay. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-appointed. We stayed in the Deluxe Room, which exceeded our expectations in terms of comfort and design.

The Orchid cafe staff seems to be the best in addressing clients requests. Cafe has plenty of space and a reasonable choice of desserts and food. Clean spacious rooms with brand new furniture.

Thank you so, so much to this lovely hotel and its staff for helping turn a travel disaster into a dream! After a 2am arrival, my initial accommodation through the Etihad stopover program claimed not to have any availability. Over a half-dozen of us sat fuming/falling asleep in the lobby only being told that we would have to wait until 3pm to check in, due to some sort of booking error with the stopover program that they claimed they could not rectify. Of course, this left nowhere to sleep after a long-haul flight from Europe. After calling several hotels in Abu Dhabi, by this time nearly 4am, I was fortunate to find an available room here to sleep for the night. The team helped me secure a quick booking with a discount, and welcomed me with warmth and grace upon arrival. I was given a lovely room on the 29th floor, which was perfectly equipped with all one could want or need: coffee/tea setup, workspace with strong WiFi, electronic do not disturb indication, large TV, extensive and 24/7 room service menu, a large bath, large rainfall shower, toiletries , bathrobe, slippers, and—of course—the most lovely and comfortable bed. I really enjoyed the setup of the room and hotel, including the window between the bath and bed so one can either watch TV or draw the screen down to maintain privacy; the views of Abu Dhabi through the window, and especially the glass lifts through which one can view the entire atrium. Since it was a short stay, I didn’t try too much of the hotel amenities, but I did find the dinner buffet to be delicious, extensive with healthy options, and good value. The breakfast at Dusit Thani Abu Dhabi was overall average. While the spread was extensive, it felt like they prioritized quantity over quality. There was a wide variety of options, but many items lacked freshness and flavor. Some dishes were cold or tasted like they had been sitting out for too long. The pastries and baked goods were decent, but nothing exceptional. Service was polite, and the ambiance was pleasant, but for a hotel of this caliber, I expected a more refined selection. If you’re looking for a filling meal with many choices, it does the job—but if you prefer high-quality, well-prepared dishes, you might be a bit disappointed.
